Valencia Basket shooting guard Jean Montero became this morning the first player from our Club to receive this award, and the first since the implementation of this recognition to be named Best Young Player of the Endesa League three times in a row. The taronja guard won the vote clearly ahead of Saint-Supery and our other nominee, Sergio De Larrea. The point guard from Valladolid, in his first season as a full-time professional, managed to break into the top five players aged 22 or younger at the end of this season (born in 2003 or later). This double recognition brings the total number of taronja players named in the All-Liga Endesa Young Team to five. In addition to the two taronja players, the Best Young Starting Five is completed by Mario Saint-Supery, Hugo González, and Thijs de Ridder.
